Jiaqi Wang Assistant Professor Peptide biomaterials, make a better life and world
Dr. Jiaqi Wang obtained his Bachelor's degree from Jiangsu University in June 2015 and the Doctorate in Computational Materials Science from the University of Tennessee, USA, in May 2020. Starting from September 2020, he engaged in postdoctoral research and served as a Research Assistant Professor at Westlake University. From October 2023, he became an Assistant Professor at the Wisdom Lake Academy of Pharmacy of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. His research focuses on computational materials science (coarse-grained molecular dynamics, all-atom molecular dynamics, first-principles molecular dynamics, deep learning-based molecular dynamics) and artificial intelligence (machine learning, deep learning), aiming to accelerate the basic scientific research of peptides and proteins (peptide-peptide & peptide-protein interactions, peptide transmembrane mechanisms, etc.) and the development and industrialization of peptide applications (drug delivery systems, peptide drugs, mRNA vaccines, etc.). Dr. Wang has published several papers as the first author or co-first author in leading academic journals such as Nature Communications, Advanced Science, and Briefings in Bioinformatics, with a total of over 20 SCI-indexed papers. He has also led projects as the principal investigator, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Young Scientists, the Postdoctoral Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province, and the general project of the Department of Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province.
