Wenshuai Wu Associate Professor Microfluidic device; Clinical diagnosis
Ph.D., Associate Professor in the Department of Nutrition and Food Hygiene at the School of Public Health, and the Key Laboratory of Environmental Medicine Engineering of the Ministry of Education, Southeast University. In 2019, Dr Wu received his Ph.D. in Science from the College of Life Sciences and the State Key Laboratory of Industrial Control Technology at the College of Control Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, under the supervision of Professor Ying Mu. Since 2019, He conducted postdoctoral research at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (ranked 2nd in the world by US News), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, under the mentorship of an Academician of the Singapore Academy of Engineering. He is the Principal investigator for a Youth Fund project from Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology (200,000 RMB) and an Open Project from the State Key Laboratory of Industrial Control Technology (70,000 RMB). In recent years, he has published 38 journal papers, including 20 as the first/corresponding author in authoritative journals in the field (13 of which are top journals according to the Chinese Academy of Sciences). He holds two authorized national invention patents and has applied for three national invention patents (under review). His research has been featured in multiple media outlets, including Advanced Science News, and he has been invited to present at numerous academic conferences both domestically and internationally。

Our research group focuses on developing rapid, highly sensitive testing technologies for non-invasive cancer diagnosis, multidimensional analysis of bacterial infections, and environmental pathogen monitoring, utilizing high-integration microfluidic chips combined with novel biochemical analysis methods. Our research interests are not limited to these areas; any innovative and intriguing research topics are welcome.
