What will nutrition look like in the future? 🥩 🍪 🍧

Watch Dr Renyou Gan, Principal Scientist at A*STAR Singapore Institute of Food and Biotechnology Innovation (SIFBI) share about the different factors affecting #nutrition and emerging #research in future foods that may change the way people approach food choices on Channel 8 news programme ‘Morning Express’.

Dr Gan is part of a team working on identifying probiotic candidate strains, which can potentially be developed into probiotics and fermented foods to help manage vitamin-deficient related disorders and promote better #health outcomes for Singaporeans.

In collaboration with ecosystem partners, A*STAR is also working on improving the nutritional quality of food, such as the high protein soft tofu, high energy savoury biscuits and ice cream developed by SIFBI.
