Qi Li Professor Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences
Dr. Qi Li obtained his Master Degree in Medicinal Chemistry at Shenyang Pharmaceutical University. Then he moved to Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences to pursue Ph. D. in organic chemistry under the guidance of Prof. Yian Shi. From Aug 2013 to Jan 2016, he conducted his postdoc career at Tsinghua University at Xuebin Liao's group. After that, he join Seiple's lab at University of California, San Francisco in Jan 2016. He started his independent research carerr at Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Nov 2020. His research focuses on discovering antibiotics by combining modular chemical synthesis, rational drug design and modern structural biology.
