     In the first review paper "A mini review on superhydrophobic and transparent surfaces",  we introduced the fundamentals and conditions that govern superhydrophobicity and transparency of materials. Afterwards,  the competing factor for superhydrophobicity and transparency of materials is discussed. Finally,  the surface design and fabrication of superhydrophobicity and transparencyare materials are introduced with future perspectives proposed in this review.      In the second research paper, we use Keggin-type (Mo-V-P) heteropolyacids (HPAs) to catalyz HTL of microalgae for efficient low-nitrogen biocrude production. HPAs with Brønsted acidity and reversible redox properties are capable of both enhancing biocrude production via catalyzing the hydrolysis of cellular compounds and reducing their nitrogen content through avoiding the Maillard reactions between the intermediates of hydrolysis of carbohydrates and proteins, leading to low N-containing biofuels production.The URL is at: https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/nEtzc5hyvXYhrYt5Wdcd4w
