TheKrogmanlabisasyntheticinorganicandorganometallicchemistrygroupworkingintheareasofcatalysisandsmallmoleculeactivation.Wewillfocusontransformationsrelevanttodevelopingthebasicsciencebehindtheutilizationofrenewablesourcesofenergysuchasnitrogenfixationandcarbondioxidereduction.Specificthemesincludethestudymultinuclearcomplexesandtheirsmallmoleculeactivation. Allareasofresearchinvolveanumberoffundamentalaspectsofinorganicandorganometallicchemistryandshouldprovidestudentswithameansoflearningawiderangeofnewconceptsandtechniqueswithinthecourseoftheirprojects.
