博士毕业论文为《紧支撑的小波、多小波理论及构造》，长期从事小波分析的理论、构造、算法及其在信号、图像处理中的应用研究。近年主要研究（1）多小波、小波框架理论及其应用；（2）信号稀疏表示及其在图像恢复中的应用
