个人简介

廖红，女，博士，教授，博士生和硕士生导师。1987年获南京大学生物系理学学士学位，1990年获南京大学神经化学理学硕士学位，2004年获中国药科大学药理学博士学位。1990-2002年在南京大学医学院病理生理学教研室工作，2005年至今在中国药科大学药物科学研究院新药筛选中心工作，任新药筛选中心党支部书记。现为美国生物化学和分子生物学学会(ASBMB)会员，关注阿尔茨海默病研究与治疗的国际科学协会（ISTAART）会员，同时为中国神经科学会和中国药理学会的会员。2002年8月到新加坡中央医院神经生物学研究室作为研究科学家工作三年。目前与德国Hamberg大学、德国Saarland大学、澳大利亚Monash大学、澳大利亚南澳大学合作开展有关神经退变病的机制和药物开发的研究。主持多项国家自然科学基金、江苏省自然科学基金、江苏省的国际合作项目和江苏省留学归国人员科技活动项目择优资助的等多项基金项目，作为主要参与者参与了“十一五”国家重大新药创制等多个项目。共发表论文63篇，SCI有32篇。并拥有一项发明专利证书。

具体研究领域：主要从事药物对阿尔茨海默病和中风的影响及机理研究；胶质细胞在神经损伤与再生中的作用及机理研究；以及药物对神经干细胞增殖和分化的影响及机理研究
