个人简介
Prof. Meng Ni received his Bachelor (2000) and Master (2003) degrees in Aero-engine Engineering. He joined The University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2003 as a research student and received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from HKU in 2007. Then Prof. NI stayed in HKU as a Post-doctoral researcher for 2 years, before joining the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as an Assistant Professor in July 2009. Prof. Ni was promoted to Associate Professor in July 2012 and Full Professor in July 2016. Prof. Ni conducted collaboration research at the Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany in 2017, as a Humboldt Fellow.
Prof. Meng Ni’s research interests include fuel cells, rechargeable metal-air batteries, electrochemical water-splitting and energy recovery from wastes. Prof. Ni is serving as an active reviewer for over 80 academic journals including Science and Nature Communications. He served as Associate Editor for Science Bulletin in 2015-2017. Currently, he is a Senior Editor for Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments(Elsevier) and an Associate Editor for International Journal of Green Energy(Taylor & Francis) and International Journal of Energy Research (Wiley).
