研究领域

1. 病毒感染树鼩疾病模型的建立及其应用树鼩（tree shrew）作为云南省特色资源动物，是一种体形小、繁殖快、易于饲养的哺乳类动物，该动物在生理解剖、神经发育、免疫反应等方面与灵长类乃至人类具有高度的相似性。该方向以树鼩为研究对象，主要围绕黄病毒科——丙型肝炎病毒（HCV）和基孔肯亚病毒（CHIKV），开展动物体内、体外病毒感染模型的建立及评价；病毒致病机制研究；抗病毒药物和疫苗体内活性评价等。 2. 艾滋、病毒性肝炎、禽流感等病毒的分子流行病学研究云南位于我国西南边陲，比邻世界最大的金三角地区，是我国多种人类重大传染疾病的流行地区之一。在云南地区开展人类重大传染性疾病分子流行学的研究为该地区病毒的预防和控制提供重要科学依据。该方向重点以艾滋病、病毒性肝炎和禽流感等病毒体为研究对象，阐明病毒的流行变化特征以及病毒进化和迁移规律；新基因型/亚型/重组型/重配型的发现和命名；治疗过程中病毒耐药突变基因变化规律等。
