研究领域

干细胞与组织工程 1. 灵长类干细胞的多能性和组织工程: 多能干细胞可分化为机体的所有细胞类型,在再生医学中具有巨大的应用前景。建立具有嵌合能力(chimera competent)以及生殖嵌合能力(germline competent)的灵长类多能干细胞系是干细胞应用于再生医学的重要前提。我们通过建立具有嵌合能力以及生殖嵌合能力的灵长类多能干细胞系,深入探讨维持多能性的分子机制以及利用多能干细胞结合生物材料建立组织器官的体内、外再生技术平台。 2. 干细胞的标准和规模化培养: 干细胞的标准和规模化培养是干细胞应用于临床的关键性因素之一。目前我们已经建立了人和猴子的多能干细胞的三维悬浮培养体系;建立了神经干细胞的单细胞长期稳定培养体系。我们将在此基础上,进一步开发出标准化和规模化的干细胞培养体系,解决干细胞的数量和质量问题。 3. 利用灵长类动物开展干细胞治疗人类重大疾病的临床前研究: 利用非人灵长类动物开展干细胞安全性和有效性的研究是干细胞由基础研究走向临床治疗的关键之一。我们以神经系统为代表,建立神经的非人灵长类疾病动物模型,并应用这些疾病模型开展干细胞移植的安全性、有效性的长期评价,促进神经细胞在体内的再生,推动干细胞进入临床。
