个人简介

周光明，理学博士，教授，博士生导师。1994年于兰州大学获得生物化学专业学士学位，2001年在中国科学院近代物理研究所获得粒子物理与核物理专业博士学位。1998年获中国科学院刘永龄奖、2001年获中国科学院院长优秀奖。1994年至2001年在中国科学院近代物理研究所工作，从事重离子辐照生物学效应研究。2002年10月至2003年10月日本千叶大学放射学院、日本国立放射医学综合研究所重离子治疗中心访问学者；2003年11月至2005年9月美国Brookhaven国家实验室生物系博士后；2005年9月至2007年3月美国哥伦比亚大学辐射研究中心博士后。2007年3月入选中国科学院“百人计划”暨“引进国外杰出人才”项目，回到中国科学院近代物理研究所工作，2015年3月调入苏州大学放射医学与防护学院。长期从事重离子束辐射生物效应机理研究，先后承担科技部973课题、国家自然科学基金重点项目、中国科学院干细胞先导专项等。在Cell Cycle、Cell Death & Disease、RNA Biology等国内外核心期刊上发表文章60余篇，授权发明专利4项。

1. 空间辐射生物效应及其机理研究； 2. 重离子治癌机理研究； 3. 非编码RNA对辐射生物效应的调控作用； 4. 抗辐射药物的研发。
