个人简介

王德寿,男,1964年9月生。理学博士,教授,博士导师,中国动物学会理事,中国鱼类学会副理事长,中国动物学会比较内分泌学分会理事,中国水产学会水产生物技术专业委员会委员,中国遗传学会动物遗传专业委员会委员,重庆市水产学学术技术带头人。淡水鱼类资源与生殖发育教育部重点实验室主任,重庆市发改委淡水鱼类新品种繁育工程实验室主任,鱼类的生殖和发育研究教育部创新团队鱼类生殖与生长调控方向带头人。1988年在西南师范大学获硕士学位后留校任教,1993年破格晋升为副教授。1996年从中山大学生命科学学院鱼类室获理学博士学位后回校工作,1998年晋升为教授。1998-2007年先后在以色列巴伊兰大学、荷兰乌德勒支大学比较内分泌研究小组、香港中文大学生化系和日本国立基础生物学研究所生殖生物学研究室做博士后、访问学者或合作研究。

研究领域

主要从事鱼类生殖和生长调控、特别是性别分化分子机制研究。从80年代中期开始对长江上游大鳍鱯和南方鲇等鲇形目鱼类进行了系统研究。为将它们培育成为名、特、优新品种做了奠基性工作。近年来,对芳香化酶基因的表达调控做了开创性的工作,提出转录因子通过调节芳香化酶表达,控制雌激素水平从而决定性别分化方向的假说并加以证实。在遗传育种方面,建立了分子标记选育遗传全雄和超雄罗非鱼的技术、转基因和基因工程育种技术。在生长方面,与香港中文大学郑汉其教授团队合作,先后从多种硬骨鱼类克隆了两个生长激素受体(GHR1,GHR2),两个促乳素受体(PRLR1,PRLR2)和三个类胰岛素生长因子(IGF-1,IGF-2,IGF-3),且发现IGF-3仅在性腺表达,据此提出了鱼类存在一个性腺特有的GH/GHR/IGF轴的假说以解释鱼类性腺的生长与身体的生长既相互联系又相互独立的生理现象。
