个人简介

谭连生(Liansheng Tan),男,1965 年12月出生于湖南宁乡。1988年7月本科毕业于福州大学,1991年7月于中国科学院武汉物理与数学研究所获得硕士学位,1999年12月于英国拉夫堡大学获得博士学位。2001年受聘于加拿大渥太华大学信息技术与工程学院担任研究员。2006年至2009年受聘于澳大利亚国立大学工程与计算机科学学院担任澳大利亚联邦院士基金研究员。现为华中师范大学计算机科学系教授、博士生导师。2002年至2009年担任华中师范大学计算机科学系主任(院长)。

研究领域

主要从事计算机通信网络中的拥塞控制与性能评估,传输控制协议与体系结构,无线ad hoc网络和传感器网络,无线通信及移动计算等方向的研究。
