1975年生，华中科技大学教授，博士生导师 1994/09–1998/06，清华大学现代应用物理系（现物理系），学士 1998/09–2001/07，中国科学院研究生院物理学部，硕士（导师：张静娟教授） 2001/09–2003/12，华中科技大学生物医学光子学教育部重点实验室，访问学者 2004/02–2009/01，中国科学院物理研究所，博士（导师：张杰院士） 2007/09–2007/10，美国国家高磁实验室，访问学者 2009/02–2015/06，美国加州理工学院（Caltech）化学与化学工程系，博士后（导师：Ahmed M. Zewail教授，诺贝尔化学奖，1999） 2015/06–至今，华中科技大学武汉光电国家实验室，教授

研究领域

从事超快结构动力学方面的研究，主要包括超快电子衍射和超快电子显微镜技术的发展，以及应用这些新技术研究物质材料受到飞秒激光激发后，物质内部的电子、声子和晶格的超快响应过程等基本物理现象。
