个人简介

唐明教授,博士,博士生导师,国际电子与电气工程师协会高级会员(Senior member of IEEE)。2001年于华中科技大学光电子工程系获得学士学位;2001年至2005年于新加坡南洋理工大学(NTU)电子与电气工程学院攻读博士课程并于2005年获得博士学位;2005年至2009年于新加坡南洋理工大学网络技术研究中心(NTRC)从事博士后研究;2009年2月至2011年2月加入日本理化学研究所(RIKEN)极端光子学研究项目组(Extreme Photonics Program)任特别研究员;2011年3月作为引进人才加入华中科技大学光学与电子信息学院。现任光学与电子信息学院院长助理,2012年获评为湖北省楚天学者特聘教授,2013年获得华中科技大学学术新人奖,同年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划,2014年入选华中学者特聘岗。

研究领域

唐明教授长期致力于高速光纤通信系统物理链路方面的研究,包括光信息的调制、放大、传输、处理与性能监测等。
