个人简介

高晓莲,兼职教授,博士生导师。1978-1982年在北京化工学院学习,获高分子科学学士学位;1982-1986年在Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey读研究生,师从Roger A. Jones教授,研究内容为同位素标记的寡聚核糖核酸合成及NMR表征(Synthesis and NMR Characterization of Isotope Labeled Oligodeoxyribonucleotides),获化学博士学位; 1986-1989年在哥伦比亚大学医学院(Columbia University, Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons)从事博士后研究,师从Dinshaw Patel教授,研究方向为生物化学与生物物理,内容是DNA以及配基-DNA复合物的核磁共振(NMR of DNA and Ligand-DNA Complexes);1990-1992年在葛兰素公司研究实验室(Glaxo Inc. Research Laboratories)任高级科学家和研究员,研究方向是结构生物学;1992-1998, 1998-2002, 2002-2004年在休斯敦大学历任化学助理教授、副教授、教授,同时兼生物学与生物化学助理教授、副教授、教授。2005至今任休斯敦大学生物学与生物化学教授,并兼化学与生物医学工程教授;2008年至今任中国科学技术大学兼职教授。

研究领域

主要研究兴趣是化学与生物学的交叉领域: 重点包括 (1)高密度生物芯片上生物大分子的并行合成化学;(2)生物芯片在基因组学和蛋白质组学中的应用;(3)发展合成生物学方法;(4)核酸、蛋白质及其复合物结构测定的生物分子核磁共振波谱学,以及加快蛋白质核磁共振波谱阐释的数据库研究。
