2003-Present Professor of Physics: Dept. of Physics, USTC
1995.3-1997.8 Visiting Scholar: Ames Lab, USA
1998.12-1999.2 Visiting Scientist: Department of Physics, Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, Hong Kong
2000.11-2003.2 Visiting Scientist: Ames Lab, USA
研究领域
My main interests in research are to reveal and understand some properties of complicated condensed matter systems, using electronic structural calculations at the levels of local density approximation (LDA), tight-binding (TB) and classical molecular dynamics. Especially, I do my efforts to develop new tight-binding potential models.
CURRENT RESEARCH PROJECTS
1. Condensed matter systems with low dimensions;
2. Developing tight-binding potential models.
