个人简介

1999年获得北京大学物理系学士学位,2004年获得中国科学院物理研究所博士学位。2005至2006年在美国哈佛大学物理系从事博士后研究。2006至2012年先后在美国田纳西大学物理系任研究助理教授及研究副教授。现为中国科学技术大学合肥微尺度物质科学国家实验室教授,博士生导师。 主要从事低维纳米结构和新型功能性材料的生长机理及其物理化学特性的理论研究。通过利用第一性原理计算电子结构计算、分子动力学模拟、蒙特卡罗模拟等多尺度模拟计算方法,从原子尺度上研究材料的结构稳定性和生长机理,以及如何通过控制材料生长的动力学过程获得具有某种特性的结构或材料,进而利用第一性原理电子结构计算研究材料的诸如电子输运、磁性、光学、电子结构的拓扑性、表面催化等物理化学性质,并力图从理论上设计具有实际应用价值的新型功能性材料或结构,重点主要集中在与清洁能源、自旋电子学及其它与未来微电子学相关的领域。
