Using various cluster models to study condensed-phase chemistry and processes. Experimental investigation in the areas of chemical dynamics, gas-phase multiply-charged anions, ion solvation, and electronic structures of environmentally and biologically important species.
Instrumental development of cryogenic and temperature-controlled photoelectron spectroscopy for investigation of solution-phase chemistry in the gas phase at well-controlled conditions (chemical composition, cluster size, and temperature).
Studies on temperature-dependent conformation and isomer population changes of complex clusters and associated entropic effects.
