个人简介

Dr. Charles Wiener is a Professor of Medicine in the Physiology and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine departments. He studies medical education, pulmonary circulation and hypoxia and respiratory muscle function in neuromuscular diseases. Dr. Wiener holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and a medical degree from the University of Miami. He completed his residency at the University of Washington in Seattle and fellowships at the Royal Post-Graduate Medical School at Hammersmith Hospital in London and at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine before joining the faculty in 1991. Dr. Wiener is also a section editor of JAMA Grand Rounds and an associate editor of the American Journal of Medicine. His work has been recognized with a Professors Teaching Award and a George Stuart Award for Clinical Teaching from the School of Medicine. MD, University of Miami School of Medicine (1982)
