Bradley J. Undem, Ph.D. is currently Professor of Medicine at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He has a joint appointment in Physiology in the Bloomberg School of Public Health. He joined the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology of the Department of Medicine in 1987. He is a member of the American Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Biology, the American Thoracic Society, the American Physiological Society, the American Society for Neuroscience, and the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society. He currently serves on the Editorial Boards of several journals, and has served as a consultant and on the scientific advisory boards for several pharmaceutical companies. He lectures widely both nationally and internationally. He is the author of more than 200 peer-reviewed publications, reviews and book chapters.

In general terms we are interested in the autonomic and afferent innervation of visceral tissues. More specifically, we are focusing on the pharmacology and mechanisms underlying vagal afferent excitability and neuroplasticity, that underlies airway inflammatory diseases.
