Dr. Truta joined Johns Hopkins from the Sacramento VA Medical Center in California, where she was an assistant clinical professor of medicine. A specialist in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and hereditary colon cancer syndromes (HNPCC, FAP), Dr. Truta is working on several ongoing projects related to Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Dr. Truta has authored numerous publications and oral presentations.
