Dr. Leann Silhan is an instructor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include lung transplantation, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis, and pulmonary and critical care medicine. Dr. Silhan earned her M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 2006. She completed her residency in internal medicine at University of Maryland Medical Center and performed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Silhan joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2013. She is certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
