Dr. Elizabeth Ratchford is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include vascular medicine. Dr. Ratchford serves as the director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Vascular Medicine. Dr. Ratchford received her M.D. from the Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University. Her research interests include peripheral arterial disease. Dr. Ratchford has been recognized by several honors, including the Merck Book Award from Yale University School of Medicine in 2000. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Heart Association, the Vascular Disease Foundation and the Society for Vascular Medicine.
