Dr. Vsevolod Y. (Seva) Polotsky is a professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His areas of clinical expertise include critical care medicine and pulmonary medicine. Dr. Polotsky earned his M.D. from Pavlov State Medical University. He completed residencies at Pavlov State Medical University and Norwalk Hospital. He performed a fellowship at the Weizmann Institute Weinberg Graduate School and a fellowship in medicine at Johns Hopkins. His research interests include hypoxia, obesity and metabolic syndrome. Dr. Polotsky is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American Thoracic Society.
