个人简介

Dr. Jonathon Golub is an Associate Professor of Medicine of Infectious Diseases at the Center for Global Health. He studies the epidemiology of tuberculosis, primarily in the context of HIV infection. Dr. Golub holds a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a master of public health degree from the Columbia University School of Public Health. He completed fellowships at the Roche Institute of Molecular Biology and the Hospital for Special Surgery, and served as an epidemiologist at the Public Health Research Institute in New York, the Maryland Infection Control Network and the Division of Tuberculosis Control in Baltimore before joining the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2004. He is a member of the International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, the American Thoracic Society and the International AIDS Society. His work has been recognized with a 1st Prize Award from the Delta Omega Honor Society Poster Competition in 1997, a 2nd Prize Award from the Delta Omega Honor Society Poster Competition in 1998, a Jean Coombs Travel Award from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in 2002, as a finalist for the Clinical Research Award in 2004 and 2005, and with a Nomination for the Golden Apple at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health in 2008.
