Dr. Brian Thomas Garibaldi is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His areas of clinical expertise include acute lung injury, interstitial lung disease and pulmonary disease. Dr. Garibaldi received his A.B. from Harvard College. He earned his M.D. from Johns Hopkins. He completed his residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and performed fellowships in pulmonary medicine at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Garibaldi joined the Johns Hopkins faculty as an assistant professor of medicine in 2013. His research interests include resolution of acute lung injury. Dr. Garibaldi served as director of the Genes to Society program at the Perdana University Graduate School of Medicine in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has been recognized with several honors, including the Case Report Award in interventional bronchology at the ACCP CHEST conference in 2008.
