Dr. Rachel Damico is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include critical care medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine, and pulmonary medicine. Dr. Damico holds a joint appointment in environmental health sciences at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Damico earned her M.D. and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her residency and performed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Johns Hopkins. Her research interests include apoptosis in lung disease, acute lung injury and vascular biology.
