Dr. Mahendra Damarla is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His areas of clinical expertise include acute lung injury, pulmonary disease and critical care medicine. Dr. Damarla earned his M.D. from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his residency at St. Elizabeth Medical Center and performed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Johns Hopkins. His research interests include vascular biology.
