Cardiovascular ultrasound; Ultrasound in endothelial function in atherosclerosis and risk factors for subclinical atherosclerosis; Valvular heart disease

Application and analysis of echocardiographic techniques in various research protocols, particularly in valve disease. Formerly studied endothelial-mediated vasoactivity using brachial artery ultrasound assessment of vasomotion in individuals with various cardiac risk factors and assessing certain interventions, as well as optimizing technique for reproducibility. Qualitative and quantitative interpretation and analysis is taught to medical trainees and faculty who use echo or vascular ultrasound in their research protocols, and need training and support in their research endeavors using these techniques.
