Dr. Daniel J. Brotman is a professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His areas of clinical expertise include hospital medicine and internal medicine. Dr. Brotman serves as the director of the Johns Hopkins Hospitalist Program. Dr. Brotman earned his M.D. at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Johns Hopkins. His research interests include hospital and perioperative medicine. He was recognized by the Maryland chapter of the American College of Physicians with an Outstanding Hospitalist Award in 2012 and named a Top Doctor (Hospitalist) by Baltimore Magazine in 2011. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians (ACP) and the Society of Hospital Medicine. MD, University of Virginia School of Medicine (1997)
