Dr. Alexander Billioux is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His area of clinical expertise is internal medicine. He received his M.D. and completed his residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins. He performed a fellowship in internal medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine. During his residency, Dr. Billioux served as assistant chief of the Osler Medical Training Program, where he trained more than 140 internal residents while treating patients in East Baltimore. From July 2014 to July 2015 he also worked as assistant chief of service for the Thayer Firm in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Billioux was a 2015-2016 White House Fellow in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. MD, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (2010)

Dr. Billioux's research has focused on global health, including diseases of poverty in India, Guatemala, Haiti, and South Africa. He has worked in Uganda to advance tuberculosis treatment both as an Afya Bora Fellow and as a researcher for the Uganda Virus Research Institute.
