个人简介

Frederick Anokye-Danso, MSc, PhD is an Instructor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the Bayview campus. Dr. Anokye-Danso received his B.Sc. from the University of Ghana. He completed his graduate studies in Molecular Biology in 2008 at Okayama University, Japan before training as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. Upon completion of his training, Dr. Anokye-Danso was appointed a Senior Research Investigator at the Institute for Diabetes, Obesity, and Metabolism, and the Technical Director of the Mouse Physiology, Phenotyping and Metabolism Core at the University of Pennsylvania until his current appointment. His expertise is in disserting biological pathways involved differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells into adipocytes and pancreatic beta cells.
