研究领域

Dr. Green’s Biomaterials and Drug Delivery Laboratory is acutely interested in biomaterials, drug delivery, gene therapy, nanobiotechnology, and cell engineering. Research findings — and the technologies developed — are applied in the fields of ophthalmology, oncology, and regenerative medicine. The lab works within the chemistry/biology/engineering interface to answer fundamental scientific questions, and to create innovative technologies and therapeutics that can directly benefit human health. Current projects include: Development of safe and effective biodegradable nanoparticles for DNA and siRNA delivery to treat cancer Polymeric microparticle-based biological treatments for age-related macular degeneration Design of biomimetic artificial antigen presenting cells for immunobioengineering Enabling technologies for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine
