研究领域

目前的研究兴趣主要集中于与弦论相关的引力物理,特别是与AdS/CFT对偶相关的物理。从某种意义上来说,AdS/CFT对偶是继牛顿、爱因斯坦之后,我们对引力的又一次革命性认识,即高一维度的引力动力学与其边界上低一维度的无引力量子体系有一对一的对应关系。物理学因而得到了进一步的交叉与统一。 特别的,我们可以通过研究体内的引力动力学去发现边界上量子体系(如夸克胶子等离子体、凝聚态物理体系、冷原子物理体系等)的一些普适行为。这是目前非常活跃的研究领域,大家称之为应用AdS/CFT。关于这一领域更为细致的介绍以及其中涉及到的基本数值方法,请参阅如下链接https://arxiv.org/abs/1601.00257。 另一方面,AdS/CFT对偶也启发我们通过量子纠缠去理解时空的起源。目前国际上正在通过It from Qubit的国际合作项目推进这一领域的进展。如想了解其中更为细致的逻辑,请参阅如下链接https://arxiv.org/abs/1609.00026。
