1991年-1994年，南京大学，硕士，植物学专业； 1994年-1998年，中国科学院上海植物生理生态研究所，博士，分子遗传学。 1998年-2005年，上海市农业科学院，生物技术研究中心，植物分子生物学实验室主任、助理研究员、副研究员、研究员； 2005年-2018年，上海交通大学生命科学技术学院教授，副院长 2016年-至今，上海交通大学讲席教授
