Bio-physical, Bio-analytical and Bio-inorganic chemistry
Prof. Li’s main interest is in the chemistry problems derived from life sciences. The main research approaches include Bio-physical (linear and nonlinear Raman spectroscopies),Bio-analytical (electrochemical and optical sensing methods)and bio-inorganic(synthesis and characterization of bio-mimetic models for the active sites of metallo-enzymes). An important aspect of our research approach is to fabricate functional nano-structured materials with novel optical and electrochemical properties and to explore their applications in bio-physical and bio-analytical chemistry.
