Physical & Biophysical Chemistry

Our research in experimental physical chemistry explores the fundamental processes that govern gas phase and heterogeneous chemical reactions associated with the production of cleaner energy. We use laser spectroscopy, NMR, EPR and mass spectrometry to understand the mechanisms of elementary reaction involved in the thermal transformation of fossil fuels and bio fuels into usable fuels.
