Tricia VanKirk's course interests are in the human sciences: Anatomy & Physiology, Pathophysiology, Chemistry and Nutrition. She joined the faculty at Husson University in 2005 and has taught at many of the area colleges throughout her career.
Tricia earned her Ph.D. in Biology at the University of Maine focusing on ion channel activity in the cardiac pacemaker. Her work specifically looked at the pharmacological effects and anti-oxidant properties of melatonin on cardiac function and melatonin receptor identification in Drosophila melanogaster.
