Professor of Practice, Ph.D., Tulane University, 2007. Research interests include protein structural and functional relationships, specifically as they relate to the binding interactions between antibodies and their target antigens; development of strategies for designing high-affinity antibodies for use in antibody-based biosensors. Dr. Abboud teaches CELL 3035, Molecular Biology Lab, CELL 4010, Cellular Biochemistry, and CELL 4225, Microbiology Lab.
