Sam Pellock completed his Honor's Thesis entitled "The Nature of pi-pi Interactions in Tyrosine/Adenine Complexes." He was Outstanding Senior Man at the May 2014 commencement ceremony and will be pursuing his Ph.D. in the Biological and Biomedical Science Program at the University of North Carolina. Sam was a co-author on two of the papers mentioned in the above section.
Hunter York holds the Hattie Mayme Ross Graduate Scholarship and his research involves experimental and computational approaches to investigating the active site and interaction network of enzymes involved in antibiotic resistance.
