个人简介

教育背景 Hailu Luo received the PhD degree in theoretical physics from Nanjing University, Nanjing, China, in 2007. 工作履历 In 2007, he joined Hunan University, as an Assistant Professor. He was promoted to Associate Professor and Professor in 2009 and 2017, respectively. He established the Laboratory for Spin Photonics and is currently the head of the spin photonics group.

研究领域

Spin-orbit interaction of photons is a weak coupling between intrinsic spin and extrinsic orbit degrees of freedom of photons. Our current research interests include fundamental theory and important applications of the spin–orbit interaction of photons. Quantum Measurement and Quantum Sensing A quantum sensor is a device that exploits quantum mechanics to achieve a sensitivity or resolution that is better than can be achieved using only classical systems. Our current research interests include leveraging quantum mechanics to enhance the fundamental accuracy of measurements and enabling new regimes or modalities for sensors and measurement science.
