Our research is all about molecular chemistry and supramolecular chemistry. We are interested in making functional molecules as building blocks that can be utilized to form supramolecular assemblies or supramolecules: 1) Design and synthesis of building blocks with beauty and functionality; 2) Carcerands, macrocyles and supercycles; 3) Applications of synthetic structures in supramolecular extraction, molecular sensing, self-assembly, mass transport, as well as supramolecular catalysis.
