研究领域
从事神经外科医疗、教学和科研工作三十余年,在神经外科疾病的诊断和治疗方面拥有丰富的经验。对脑(神经系统)肿瘤的显微外科手术和综合治疗具有较深的造诣,特别是脑胶质瘤的个体化综合治疗,采用包括依据肿瘤分子特征的预见性化疗、CIK细胞局部免疫治疗等使数以千计的病人获得良好的治疗效果。除了高超的临床医术之外,陈忠平教授还在基础研究方面颇有建树。在神经肿瘤分子生物学-尤其是胶质瘤耐药/放射抗拒分子机制方面做了较深入的研究,在恶性脑肿瘤免疫治疗的基础和临床应用方面也进行了探索。首先提出并用转基因试验证明,核苷酸切除修复系统中的重要因子 - ERCC2的表达与人脑肿瘤对烷化剂的耐药相关;实验和临床研究证明DNA修复基因六氧甲基鸟嘌呤DNA甲基转移酶基因(MGMT)表达影响人脑胶质瘤对氯乙基亚硝脲化疗的效果,抑制MGMT活性可为化疗增敏。
