个人简介
Yi Wu is an associate professor in the department of synthetic biology at Tianjin University. He leaded the effort to synthesize yeast chromosome 10 in the international Sc2.0 project. He developed a highly efficient mapping strategy called Pooled PCRTag Mapping (PoPM), generalizable to any watermarked synthetic chromosome, to correct unexpected bugs arising during genome synthesis. He also developed new technologies and strategies of SCRaMbLE (Synthetic Chromosome Rearrangement and Modification by LoxP-Mediated Evolution) to explore the fundamental and industrial application of this system.
