个人简介
Dr. Gambarotta's research in organometallic chemistry and catalysis focuses on design and discovery of new active catalysts for olefin selective and non-selective oligomerization. Given the industrial relevance of these catalysts, we carry the preliminary screening in the lab and the final testing in cooperation with industry. A particular focus is on the understanding of the mechanistic aspects of the selectivity of the oligomerization reaction. This is in the view of extracting crucial information for the tailoring of new and more competitive catalysts.
