My thesis research involved mechanistic investigations of a family of block copolymer surfactants and their therapeutic interactions with compromised cell membranes (actual title: "Development of Diblock Copolymer Surfactants for Mechanistic Investigations of Cell Membrane Stabilization"). The work was collaborative with the medical school and consisted of a mix of polymer synthesis and characterization and model cell membranes, alongside various physical characterization techniques.
