Using HIGFET to measure GaAs many-body effective masses and spin susceptibility versus interaction strength at low temperatures (~10mK) and in high magnetic field. Discovery of a new type of high frequency magneto-oscillations in GaAs quantum wells. Discovery of an unconventional “half-integer” quantum Hall effect in electronic transport measurements of graphene, a single atomic layer of carbon.

我们实验室科研方向着重在理解生物分子系统的运作原理。生物分子,尤其是蛋白质,可以在充满了变动与干扰的细胞中精确的执行多样化的功能。蛋白质分子能够高效率的运用环境中的能量,但是科学家并不理解其中的基础原理。我们将结合物理学背景与生物学中前沿的单分子萤光技术解决在生物与物理间跨领域的问题
