研究领域

Areas of Interest Computerized assessment of patient facial appearance to predict the ease or difficulty of endotracheal intubation at surgery. Improving the delivery of intravenous anesthetic agents through improved, interactive modeling of their pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. Simulating free-swimming ascent from disabled submarines at depths greater than 600 feet, and improving the survivability of rapid compression and exposure to high pressure oxygen and nitrogen. Intelligent alarm systems for intra-operative patient monitoring. Research Areas Applying the principles of minimally-invasive medical engineering, physiology and information technology to clinical issues in anesthesiology.
